Why
the Ionian and not the Aegean?
The Ionian enjoys high-ish winds for a few hours a
day (usually in the afternoon) because the prevailing
wind is from the northwest there is little in the
way of "sea", with the result that sailing
the Ionian is a good deal more comfortable than the
Aegean, which suffers a lot from gales and high winds
during the season.
Why
skipper chartering and not bare boat?
Skipper
chartering means you get the best of both worlds.
If you're looking for "hands on sailing"
we're only too pleased for you to sail the yacht whilst
the crew take a back seat. But we're always there
to help or advise. Skipper chartering means if you're
not looking to sail the yacht you will have
plenty of time to relax and chill out and let the
crew take the strain.
